Regulations on the upload of graduation theses
Upload of graduation theses in Electronic Library of Surgut State University is carried out not later than 4 business days prior to the paper defense.
1. Preliminary check of graduation theses for plagiarism
It is carried out by students independently with the help of free resource “Antiplagiat”.

2. Plagiarism check by a scientific advisor (if necessary)
The scientific advisor carries out the check using the resource “Antiplagiat.VUZ”.
The results of the check must be necessarily commented in the review of the scientific advisor, after which a decision is made on the admission of the thesis to defense, which is confirmed by the head of the department (works containing ineligible borrowings are NOT APPROVED for defense).
3. Creating a PDF file
The student scans the following documents:
- title page with signatures confirming the admission of the work to defense;
- sheet with the task for the work (if any);
- review of the scientific advisor;
- reviews on the thesis (if any);
- personal application of the student on uploading of the work in the Electronic Library of Surgut State University (Template);a letter of consent (refusal) to upload the text of the thesis in the Electronic Library System from the basic enterprise/organisation, materials of which were used in the thesis (if any) (Template);
- table of contents (if the content part of the work is withdrawn);
the decision of the department on the possibility of placing the thesis in the Electronic Library System (with the full text or with the removal of the substantial part of the work).
All the above documents should be merged into one PDF file. If the thesis is uploaded in full, the PDF file includes the full text of the work.

4. Sending the merged PDF file
A letter with the merged PDF file attached should be sent to vkr@surgu.ru. The following information MUST be included in the email:
- title of the work;
- full name of the student;
- year of thesis;
- form of the work (graduation thesis, master's thesis, bachelor's thesis);
- full name of the scientific advisor;
- institute;
- code of specialization.
