Expositions
The Museum of the Book has permanent expositions:
- “History of writing and book printing” – presents facsimile editions of the 12th – 20th centuries (“Kyiv Psalter”, “The Fourth Gospel of Tsar Ioann Alexander”, “Karion Istomin`s Alphabet Book”, “The Primitive Bryusov Calendar”) and books of Russian typographies from the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century (“The accession to the throne of Emperor Nicholas I”, “The Proceedings of the Tomsk Society of Naturalists”, “On the Sentences in Criminal Cases”, “Lessons in Experimental Physics”, “Roman History” etc.).
- “History of West Siberia” – presents facsimile editions of the 17th – 19th centuries (map of Siberia, “S. U. Remezov`s blueprint book of Siberia”, “Dostoevsky`s Gospel”, works of famous scientists who studied West Siberia in the 19th – 20th centuries, as well as drawings, diagrams, photographs of the 19th – 20th centuries.
