2023
The library is 30 years old.
Cooperation with organisations of the city and the district. Opening of the photo exhibition “Reserved Russia” in association with the State Nature Reserve “Yuganskiy”.
Presentation of the project “Cultural artefacts of the Scientific Library of Surgut State University” at the All-Russian forum “University Library: that's how it can be” (Tomsk).
Internship of the library staff in Tomsk State University (with the support of the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers) on working with BIG DATA.
2024
The Scientific Library was renamed into the Library and Information Center of Surgut State University.
The exhibition “Legends and Tales of the Yugra Land” (a joint project with the Surgut Museum of Local History) opened in the atrium of the Library and Information Center.
The Head and staff of the Library and Information Center participated in the 28th All-Russian Library Congress (Kazan).
The Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) included the journal “Severny region: nauka, obrazovanie, kultura” in its list.
2025
The Library and Information Center collection received the printed edition of “Academic History of Yugra” (Akademicheskaya istoriya Yugry).
Library and Information Center staff completed an internship at the Library of the Higher School of Economics (Moscow).
The Foreign Literature Section hosted a practical workshop on the Surgut dialect of the Khanty language for the first time.
“Soviet Departmentalism”, a collective monograph, was presented on May 19 at the Professors Hall.
Yuliya Kamyshanova, Head of the Library and Information Center, Irina Dmitrieva, Archiving and Scientific Processing of Documents Department, and Nataliya Igonina, Head of the Library Technologies and Sociocultural Communications Department, attended the 29th Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association in Izhevsk between May 26–29.
The Library and Information Center staff conducted an Old Russian calligraphy workshop for Indian students on the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture.
On the occasion of All-Russian Library Day, Yuliya Kamyshanova, Head of the Library and Information Center at Surgut State University, conveyed her best wishes to her colleagues and shared insights into important events within the librarianship.
At Surgut State University’s anniversary, the Library and Information Center staff were honored at an awards ceremony.
An exhibition called “Challenge of Time” that is dedicated to the SVO has permanently opened within the Library and Information Center’s atrium.
